Business Impact of Visio

Microsoft Visio is a tool used for diagramming for visual communication of technical and non-technical representations of ideas, processes, concepts, structures, layouts, software models, blueprints, etc. It makes the creation of complex diagrams easy and in a user friendly manner. It has functions such such as
·         Data Flow charts
·         Work Flow diagrams
·         Process flow charts
·         Timelines and network diagrams

If businesses invest in Microsoft visio, some of the complicated business process can be easier to follow because visio gives a graphical presentation of each step, and by this, communication is made in a visual manner. This can pinpoint errors or inefficiencies and be able to capture information in ways that are different and more valuable for businesses.
Take Visio flow charts for example, if it is used to create a firm's business process, the entire process can be seen at a glance, and it will be easy to spot and clarify what works or not in a team's task and information flow, analyze problems, explaining the steps in the process, etc

Bottom line, the Business impact that visio can have on business is improved business process management by improving communication which can further improve productivity because it can simply complicated delivery of information.

When I was accepted into the MBA program at Montclair, I was given a list of course required for graduation and also a flow chart. Looking at the flowchart helped me to easily understand the steps of each class.

My attempt in recreating the MBA course flowchart using Visio
